ABOUT US

OUR MISSION: To be a network of professionals in the corporate world who are passionate about using their skillsets to make a difference in the world. 

"Bridges Network" is the sister organization of "Bridges for Enterprise". Professional mentors under this network will get the opportunity to empower social enterprise startups and student teams under the "Bridges for Enterprise" programme. To date, we have empowered 26 startups from 14 countries worldwide.

WHY JOIN US?

  1. Make a tangible difference in the world TODAY! You can use your skill sets to solve social problems e.g. poverty, health crisis, etc through empowering social enterprises

  2. Mentor and empower social entrepreneurs from all around the world. Create long term sustainable impact on the startups you are mentoring

  3. Mentor and empower the next generation of passionate and talented university students working on BfE projects. Students come from the University of Cambridge and other universities around the world. 

  4. Through our mentorship network, meet like-minded professionals who want to use their careers to give back to society

When you sign up as a mentor, you will have direct communication with both the student team giving the advisory service, as well as the social enterprise owner. Your advice would go a long way in ensuring the success of passionate social entrepreneurs. 

ABOUT BfC NETWORK

"Bridges for Charity Network" (BfC Network) attracts professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the world through mentoring charities in developing countries. Since inception in 2015, BfC Network and our sister organization Bridges for Enterprise Network (BfE Network) have attracted numerous professionals from the most prestigious firms worldwide who are making a tangible difference in the world through the mentorship engagements.

DETAILS OF BfC NETWORK MENTORSHIP 

We are currently looking for professionals to join the BfC Network as a mentor to support the charities.

​> Role of a mentor

  • To provide pro-bono skills based volunteering to charities on the BfC Programme

 

​> Time commitment​

  • Entirely flexible and will be structured to meet the needs of the mentor and the charity. 

 

> Examples of skills required

  • Real Estate Finance

  • Development and Construction

  • Architecture

  • Planning

  • Legal 

  • Accounting

  • Consulting 

  • Government (housing ministry) 

  • Charity Sector 

  • *We welcome anyone with other relevant skillsets
